Apostolic Fellowship Ministries Bible Institute is proud to partner with Christian Outreach Bible Institute and Seminary, Fayetteville, NC. (COBI) This partnership allows us to work in conjunction with this Seminary for curriculum enhancement, selection of instructors, monitoring the quality of education provided, and awarding of degrees.
COBI requires a Biblical and Theological foundation before being accepted into the degree programs. The CORE courses listed are a prerequisite for the Degree Tracks. This CORE track provides (21) course credits. Two of the courses listed are electives (Teachers Training-I and Teacher Training-II) The student receives a Certificate of Biblical and Theological Studies upon completion of this Track. The estimated time frame is one and a half to two years for completion.
Prior Learning
If a student has attended another Bible School, Seminary, College, University, or recognized School of Higher Learning, an official Transcript can be provided, and those credits will be considered. Students must have at least a "C" average for courses submitted to transfer if accepted. If any of the CORE courses have been taken at another credible school, credit will be allotted if an acceptable grade is obtained.
Military Service Credit
Military service personnel from any allied national armed forces branch will receive three (3) hours of credit for every year of honorable service up to a maximum of (12) credit hours. Credits for military service must be requested before enrollment.
Progressive Senior Discount
Students Aged 62 and above will receive a 10% discount. Proof of age must be provided, and a discount must be requested before enrollment.
Other Credit
Life, Work, and Ministry Credit: Credit for a student’s life, work, and ministry will be evaluated based on their experience. If you have years of part-time or full-time work in Christian service, this may be considered valuable credit. You will need to submit a short biography or resume for evaluation and verification. These credits can be applied to each degree level up to the Master’s Degree. Please note that no experience credits are available for the Doctoral level.
Student's Classification / Auditors
A student who desires to hear the lecture of a course but will not do the assigned work or receive any credit for that specific course. The auditor must have class-by-class approval by the administrative offices.
Note: Though no credits or grades are involved Auditors are required to pay the appropriate fees for class attendance requirements!
Admissions Requirements
Apostolic Fellowship Ministries Bible Institute admits students of any race, color, or origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities made available to the AFMBI Student Body. Eastern Bible Institute has a zero-tolerance policy as it pertains to racial discrimination. Race, color, or origin are not factors considered when promulgating administrative, educational, and fiscal policies. A student must possess a High School Diploma from an approved public or private High School or a GED equivalent, to enroll in all programs.
